About Me

Welcome to my world  bane-batman-pic-2

When I first started writing under this pen name, my intro went like this: My name is Lucian Bane, and I’m a Dom. And now that I no longer write strictly BDSM, the intro is lacking. So, to properly encapsulate who I am, I would simply say, I’m a husband who submits his will to God and allows Him to lead my mind heart and body. I think of it as the art of becoming one. And I do believe with all that I am, that without God, I could never achieve the things that I have.

Of course you’ll find my guts in every book that I write. Within the pages, I like to secretly craft maps that lead readers in a direction that would nurture the passionate powers within them. The powers that lead to life-long relationships, unbreakable family ties, and a solid, healthy society.

Answers to some of the questions I’m commonly asked:

Yes, there is a real-life Tara and she is my wife. (Thank you God 🙂 )

While the Dom Wars (first book I wrote) is obviously fictional, many other elements of the story are true.

Yes, I really am a man, and I really am a Dom. No, I don’t take on new subs. My only sub is my beautiful wife whom I love more than my own life.

My desire for privacy seems to fascinate some people, and I haven’t quite figured out why. Contrary to what we like to believe about our society, not everyone is free to do or say whatever they want. Words and actions can negatively impact family and friends and I have a responsibility to protect the people in my life from the consequences of my choices. So I will not post face images or real names (aside from masked ones lol). I would feel terrible if my sister’s husband lost his job, or my mother was ostracized in church, or anything unpleasant happened to anyone I know simply because I write Erotica. People have enough difficulty without being presumed guilty by their associations with me.

I enjoy hearing from readers, so make sure you leave a comment. If you’d like to support me on Patreon, you can do so here. If you don’t know what the hell that even is, you can check it out here.

If you would like an autographed copy of any of my books, you can get them here.

Thank you for visiting my website. Have an awesome day.

Wow. Love your honesty, a look at your past and what brought you here. Also love that Tara is a real person in your life. We all love a HEA. Looking forward to your vanilla 101 CLASSES, lol.

I just finished rounds 1-4. I had a hard time putting them down to do other things before I finished them. I LOVED them!! I am looking forward to seeing how the story continues.

Hi! I’m a new reader to your series! & by new I mean I just finished Dom Wars Round 1. To be completely honest I have never read anything like your work. I mean I read 50 Shades of Gray but their something about your book that took me for a loop! (If that makes sense) I’m starting Round 2 so maybe I’ll be able to really define that loop….lol

so a post on a page takeover today on you the author and saw some of what you had to say. i guess it was alittle like a bio anyways very reflextions of your view points I must say. Nice to see a man not afraid to say what on their mind and not afraid to reveal the self. I have seen you mentioned here and there but you are basically a new author to me I do find all the fuss and battles though amusing and very entertaining. Have not read any of your books as of yet might once I catch up on a few arcs reading for review. But as I said will be following your self if i see you and your posts on facebook.

  5. Marg says:

As a submissive with a Dom I absolutely love your books. I got a lot of other vanilla, sub and Dom friends to read your books. I hope that you keep writing for a long time.

  6. Helly says:

I respect you and your values. I do not know who you are other than a writer that I have really enjoyed reading and cannot wait until the next book comes out.

You have the right to live and protect your love and your family. I would do the same. My family is my life.’

  7. Beth says:

Lucian you are an amazing writer, an unbelieveable caring man, and I can not get enough of your writing, I would read anything you wrote. The way you caress the pages with your thoughts, feelings, and words is amazing. I have recently read many things you have posted and it isn’t just your books it is the real you that you share with us. The emotion and caring in your words is amazing and I have not felt from any other author. I now understand it as being you not a story you have created but it is the real Lucian. Thanks for sharing that with us!~B

  8. Stephanie Powell says:

I am going to start this series very soon maybe even today. I am very intrigued about you. This is really cool but how do you sign at author events if you want to remain a mystery and and protect others. Which honestly I understand but how what if you get so big which you are pretty big now. Bur how will you handle meet and greet things. Anyways just wanted to say can’t wait to get lost in your world.

  9. Adam Bevan says:

Oddly enough I was introduced to the Dom Wars series by my mother. Go figure. I am a non-judgemental male and thoroughly enjoy reading your work. My hats off to you in every regard being so open minded, at least in your writing, when it comes to the way a man should conduct himself in all facets of life. Soooooo on point my brother. Men have lost there way over the course of time and in doing so their spine as well. I am NOT referring to egotistical B.S. I’m talking about the very essence of being a man. Preach and teach on kind sir and with a little hope and faith maybe the male populace can get over their narrow minded and shallow selves and start to embrace the true role of their place in the world. Keep up the good work.

Ahhhhh….this explains Lucian’s personality. I picked it up because it was recommended to me. Not the usual read as far as other books I have read, however, Lucian is almost an enigma to me. Your story helps me picture Lucian more, thank you for that. Your wife is a very lucky woman. I look forward to reading more of your books.

You are a very honest and forthright person. That’s very admirable. You, of course, are an incredible author who writes and expresses such emotion and detail that, as a reader, makes you feel you’re part of the book. That’s my desire as a reader. Going somewhere I would dream about, exposing myself to feeling the ecstasy and eroticism of a world not found everywhere. Sharing your words with another and bringing them to life. For all that, I am a truly grateful and a dedicated follower of your books. Thank you Lucian Bane for sharing your passion!

  24. Diana Bennett says:

Do you put out a newsletter, or emails when your new work will be out?

  25. Clare Horton says:

Can you tell me when desecrating Solomon book three is coming out. Books one and two have been thoroughly read and very moving and I am very intrigued as of when the third book is released.

  26. Nan says:

    Hi Lucian,
I am wondering what the phrase on your cover photo means..Master of Seduction?
I’d just like to know, is it your words and writing, or how you teach husbands..???
Just want your view on this subject

  27. Sheila Bysouth says:

When is White Knight Dom Academy 3 being published? Also when is the last book of Desecrating Solomon book 3 being published? Hanging by a thread here waiting to close these two stories. Love your books just adored Dom Wars

  28. Karri says:

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Dom Wars series. I have also read the extension White Knight Dom Academy. I just finished semester 2 can you tell me when the next will be out it only said TBC. Thank you and again love your work!!

  29. Bella says:

I just ordered one of your books. Mercy. It will be the first book of yours that I read. I came across your books while I was doing a search for dark romance. It does bother me a bit that you don’t show you picture. Sounds like your ashamed of what you do. It is hard for me to respect you in that regard. You will never be able to do a meet and greet. Sorry I just don’t get it.

  30. Brienne says:

Is White Knight Dom Academy book #2 not for sale in the US? I am trying to buy it on Kindle and it says it’s not available for sale in the US. I have already read the first book in this 3 book series and I was able to buy the 3rd book with no issues. However, it seems that the second book has pretty much vanished both on Amazon and Kindle itself.

    • Juliette Tai says:

White Knight Dom Academy has been updated. What you see on Amazon is correct. The original “WKDA The Beginning” was combined with “WKDA 1st Semester,” and renamed to 1st Semester. Sorry for the confusion, forgot to update the website.

  31. Miashay says:

I just recently found this site and wanted to thank you. My husband and I have been pulling away from each other ever since he got a second job. The information I have found on your site, mostly BDSM 101, has actually saved our relationship. Thank you so much for having that on this site. I’ll definitely be buying a few of your books with my next paycheck.

  32. Kristine says:

Not even sure how I ended up reading Dom Wars, but was captivated from the start. Your writing…eloquent, thoughtful, insightful, and I felt written from a place of truth and honesty. Not many authors are able to take a reader on a journey. You are gifted with the ability to craft a story that is intriguing on so many levels beyond plot. I know nothing of the BDSM world so I don’t have a perceived opinion of it. I can say, however, that dark erotica is not my usual genre. Which leads me back to the first sentence of this commentary. I guess I was compelled to keep reading because there is believability and sincerity that does not appear contrived and this work goes way beyond the mechanics of the BDSM lifestyle. The book has depth. Impressed. After reading above comments, I will simply say, I respect and understand your desire for privacy. Your reasons are admirable, stay steadfast. You are talented Mr. Bane. I enjoyed the ride.

    • Wow, thank you so much for your kind remarks. I love hearing from readers, hearing how I touched lives and hearts. That is my WHOLE reason for writing and I’m so happy you stopped by to tell me. Please friend me on Facebook if you like. I would love to connect.

  33. Kristen Cano says:

Love the brutal honesty. It is awesome you are so protective of your family. I have only read the first few Dom Wars but am super excited to read more of your work.

  34. Rosie says:

I just finished the fourth book in your Ruin series. I have always looked for books were the males are the dominant….. in the bedroom only. I also like the books that are on the darker side.
My question is, are you going to write any more books in the Ruin series? If so, when do you see this happening? I really enjoyed this story.

  35. Keri says:

My first introduction into your writing world was Claw. I finished it within an hour. (yes I am a fast reader) I am absolutely enthralled by your writing. The building of your characters qualities as well as flaws allowed me to lose myself within the story. I am looking forward to reading all you have written.

  36. Tre says:

Hello Mr. Bane I have just finished reading the Dom Wars series as well as the Desecrating Solomon series this past week and I absolutely loved them! I was wondering which true events led to the Desecrating Solomon series and I was wondering how to read the epilogue you were planning on for the Queen. Thank you for the amazing stories and I look forward to reading your other works.

  37. Nan says:

  • Note:

I usually refer to males as the more dominant and females as the more submissive. The intention is NOT to say that ALL relationships should fit that pattern. My relationship experience is with male dominant, female submissive arrangements and that is the only sort of relationship I have firsthand knowledge about.
