Intensely Emotional – review by Laurie

on March 6, 2017

This book…. I don’t even know where to begin….It is possibly the most thought out, intense read I have ever read. The emotions in the book are intense and will have you reaching for the tissues and possibly a bottle or two of wine. I cried, laughed, cringed, wanted to slap X and hug Bones.

Winter and Bones have such hatred for each other and when you think things can’t get anymore intense enter X and his darkness. Winter realizes that Bones needs her and she loves him in an entirely more complex way than Reginald. All she can think about is helping Bones and keeping X from doing anything to destroy them.

This book will turn you upside and toss you around before you are through with it. I love how Lucian Bane can take everyday ordinary words and spin them into a story that will have you so invested in it you can’t put it down. Rarely do I find a book that I want to reread as soon as I’m done but this is one such book!

Congratulations Mr. Bane on writing one of the best books of 2017 to date!!

I usually refer to males as the more dominant and females as the more submissive. The intention is NOT to say that ALL relationships should fit that pattern. My relationship experience is with male dominant, female submissive arrangements and that is the only sort of relationship I have firsthand knowledge about.
