Unforgettable Obsession – review by Kimie

on February 19, 2017

I fell in love with Reggie and Bones in book 1 BUT I am madly in love with them in book 2. Lucian has such an innate ability to create these amazing characters that you become obsessed with. You actually feel them. You connect with them and you can’t help but think about them after you finish reading. This story takes some processing but that’s what makes it so special. Lucian’s writing does that to you.

You will learn so much more about Reggie & Bone’s story as well as this mysterious woman Winter. I’m fascinated by her. Guilt is what drives her to abuse herself by being a whore. You would think she’s broken but she doesn’t allow herself to go there. She just keeps taking it and yet stays strong somehow. I’m not sure how she does it but her ability to see outside of her own pain and reality is what captured me. Her determination to find out what happened to Reggie & Bones and find the answers to help them shows me more about her. I can’t wait to read more about her backstory as well. She is sassy & feisty and you can’t help but love her.

Book two is so incredible because you get more of an understanding on what is going on including their relationship with Winter. It’s hard to wrap your head around this trio at times, but OMG how Lucian weaves these characters in such a way that it is the ultimate mindf*ck. The puzzle pieces start to appear but not enough to put together the puzzle just yet. The complexity of this story is what makes it so addicting and I’m holding my breathe until February 28th. Do yourself a favor and savor book 2 because you will be panting for book 3, that I can promise you.
Thank you again Lucian for giving us something dark and sexy as well as the ultimate mindf*ck all wrapped up into this story called Reginald Bones

I usually refer to males as the more dominant and females as the more submissive. The intention is NOT to say that ALL relationships should fit that pattern. My relationship experience is with male dominant, female submissive arrangements and that is the only sort of relationship I have firsthand knowledge about.
